Connect your permitting system to FLPPR.

FLPPR is the free statewide registry of Florida private provider firms. Building departments look up any registered firm in FLPPR's web portal. Next, we're designing connectors with departments and software vendors, so the permitting system your department already runs stays in sync with FLPPR automatically.

Why it matters

One firm, every license holder.

Many permitting systems register a private provider as a single license holder. A firm with several licensed professionals ends up registered several times, or can't register at all.

FLPPR keeps one record per firm, with every qualifier and licensed professional under it. Each license is checked against state licensing records (DBPR BCAIB, FBPE, and the Board of Architecture and Interior Design).

In design

What a connector would keep in sync.

Connectors are being designed with departments and software vendors now. The goal: your staff see current private provider data inside the system they already use, without re-keying it.

  • Registration status

Whether each firm is registered with your department, and when that changes.

  • Licensed professionals

Each qualifier and licensed professional, with license number, type, status, and expiration.

  • Insurance

The insurance each firm has on file and when it expires.

  • Changes as they happen

License lapses, roster changes, and registration updates, sent when they happen instead of at the next renewal.

Built to work with the systems departments already run.

A connector reads from FLPPR and writes into your permitting system, so there's nothing new for counter staff to learn and nothing to replace. FLPPR keeps the private provider registrations; your system keeps the permits and inspections.

What it costs

Free. Florida law bars any fee for registration or updates, and FLPPR charges departments nothing.
